Salaried and other staff
In the Section Salaried and other staff, all personnel matters of salaried employees in science and research, technical facilities and services as well as in administration are taken care of. We accompany the entire employment process from a personnel administration perspective, from hiring until a potential termination of employment. In doing so, we provide comprehensive advice and support to the departments and service institutions of TU Dortmund University on all matters relating to labor law and collective bargaining agreements, but also personnel strategy issues. Furthermore, we are responsible for the employment of student and research assistants (SHK, WHF, WHK), for the administrative support of visiting scientists as well as for applications for the granting and settlement of teaching assignments and the settlement of guest lectures. Of course we are also available to provide advice in these matters. In addition, the above-mentioned personnel measures for salaried and other staff also include cooperation with the Landesamt für Besoldung und Versorgung des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen (LBV NRW).
