Trainee health booster

The concept

The Occupational Health Management program offers a special framework program called “Azubi-Gesundheitsbooster” (Trainee Health Booster) specifically for trainees. This is integrated into the training program. Health topics are thus intended to be an integral part of the training program in order to raise awareness of health issues among TU Dortmund's junior staff and enable them to complete their training with enjoyment, exercise, mindfulness, and the best possible results.

Participation in the various boosters is voluntary, but highly encouraged, provided that there are no work or school-related reasons not to do so. The program is supported by the respective main trainers of the various training occupations and the training team.

The bonus system

To participate in boosters, trainees collect stamps in their health passports. The stamps can be redeemed for the corresponding bonus at the end of the year (see TU Dortmund University health passport).

To register

All trainees at TU Dortmund University can participate in the program, regardless of which year of training they are in. At the beginning of each new training year, the BGM presents the program to the new trainees.

Registration for the individual “boosters” (modules) can be done at any time via the internal registration system for continuing education and training under the tab “Trainee Health Booster.”

At regular intervals, trainees receive newsletters about the upcoming boosters for the next six months.
